SOC 2

A security compliance framework for service organisations.

Definition

SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls 2) is a compliance framework developed by the AICPA that defines criteria for managing customer data based on five trust service principles: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.

In Depth

SOC 2 compliance involves an independent audit (Type I for design at a point in time, Type II for effectiveness over a period). Enterprise customers often require SOC 2 Type II reports from their SaaS vendors before procurement.

Lodgestory maintains SOC 2 compliance for enterprise customers, with audit reports available upon request under NDA.
