LinkedIn CRM

A CRM that reads and replies to LinkedIn conversations alongside its other records.

Definition

A LinkedIn CRM is a customer relationship tool that brings LinkedIn conversations — member direct messages and company Page inbox messages — into the same place as the rest of a team's contact history, rather than leaving them in LinkedIn's own inbox.

In Depth

LinkedIn's native inbox was built for one person. It has no assignment, no routing and no shared view, so a team working the same inbox quickly loses track of who replied to whom. A LinkedIn CRM adds those things, and puts the conversation on the same contact timeline as email, WhatsApp or a phone call.

Two LinkedIn inbox types matter here and they behave differently. A member inbox belongs to a person and can start conversations. A company Page inbox is visible only to the Page's super and content admins, and LinkedIn only allows a Page to reply to members who messaged it first.

In Lodgestory, each connected LinkedIn inbox becomes its own channel with its own team and routing, sitting beside WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, email, SMS and voice.
